Spring ~ Small Mimosa Bunch Local

£8.00

The Acacia, more commonly known as the Mimosa, is a magnificent, yellow, fluttery springtime branch that is made up of hundreds of tiny flowers sat among wonderful fern like green leaves. Available for just a few months in the early Spring, the mimosa flower is traditionally given to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, with the strong, beautiful branches representing the simultaneous strength and delicacy of women. The yellow nature of mimosa also makes it a wonderful symbol of friendship; instilling joy at every turn.

Due to the shorter lifespan we have decided to offer this variety for local delivery and click and collect only. Price is for a small bunch consisting of a minimum of 2-3 stems, Mimosa is sold by weight and so stem count will vary, Mimosa stems are abundant by nature.

We always suggest cutting your stem’s with professional florist shears for a longer lasting arrangement, click here to view the florist shears we use in our shop!

How to care for your purchase:

Flowers
Your gift has been created by our in-house florists, we take care to ensure your flowers arrive looking their best, but please follow these simple instructions:

1. Remove all packaging but be careful not to cut the raffia keeping your bouquet’s beautiful form.

2. Trim a little off each stem at an angle with a sharp knife or secateurs so your flowers can easily take up water after their journey.

3. Half fill your bucket or vase with fresh water.

4. Add the special flower food supplied with your flowers. Check the water every couple of days - some flowers are really thirsty!
